Pillow Door Knob Signs

I've been hiding in my studio,
just sewing away.

This is a gift for a fiddler friend of mine.

For those days  . . .
when you just want to be left alone.

Everybody has one
 now and again.

 OR

A great gift for a girlfriend to use
when she is suffering from PMS.

Keep smiling,
Connie :)

  1. Aaaw, these are absolutely adorable and so needed sometimes! Especially when you're hiding in the studio crafting, don't you think? The pictures are so cute :). Are they... What shall I say... The kind you iron onto the fabric?

    Have a great day!

  4. I love the NO SOLICITORS! NOW THAT'S FUNNY!! Isn't the lady toten the gun, ANNIE OAKLEY? If it is, I blogged about her on my 127 longest yard sale....stopped off and saw her grave site. She married the man she beat in a well known shooting contest in her day! LOL! From one sweetie to another~~~Roxie

  6. I'm most impressed. I got attacked by one of my rose bushes at the weekend and I've not got a huge rip in my jeans, so I was thinking about making something with the denim, I now have the answer!

    1. My motto is never throw away a pair of jeans. Their fabric is wonderful, I especially like the ones that have been washed a hundred or so times. One of my very favorite things is re-purposing old jeans.
      Have fun! Connie :)
P.S. If you go to my archives and look under handmade pretties, you will find more jean ideas :)

  7. Hello Connie,
There are very different door knob hangings.. they are so inventive.
Connie, do you remember I mentioned some time ago, about "Annie get your Gun".. my mother bought me the whole outfit that she used to use when she went touring..
she ordered it from America.. I was about 6 at the time.. I am not sure how old Annie Oakley was at that time.
Like SweetVintageofmine wrote.. I think that image is of Annie Oakley.. I like them..
    They are really great.
    thanks for showing them Connie.
    have a happy week
