Sending A Little Love Your Way

I'm still at the sewing machine.
It may just take an industrial size crow-bar
to pry me away.

No, I did not make all of these in one day,
but I have been cutting my small scraps up into hearts,
and having a ball.

I plan on selling them in my booth.
Notice that my display rack is an inverted
wire planter.
It works great and gives me a lot of space
for tying my hearts on.

Thanks again to:

I have made a little over 2 dozen so far,
but I didn't want to bore you.

I hope you enjoyed seeing them
as much as I have had fun making them.

Happy sewing,
 Connie :)

  16. Your hearts are quite sweet and what a clever way to display! Are they little sachet hearts, filled with dried herbs, etc? My Gramma used to make sachets that she would hang on hangers and place in clothing drawers. Her closets and drawers always smelled to nice! I especially liked her dried lavender sachets. Or are they just fun little pillows stuffed with stuffing to have fun with?

    1. They are just little pillow stuffed hearts. We had such a hot summer that I think I lost my lavender plants, unless by some miracle the roots are still alive and they come back up next year.
      Thanks for stopping in . . . I do love company :)

  18. Hi again Connie. I don't mind at all if you want to make some little birds. The basic idea of making a bird from circles was not mine.. I borrowed that from a picture I saw on another blog. (see my post) I think it's wonderful when we share ideas and inspire others to get creative too.

  23. Hi Connie,

Love your hearts! I bet they sell out real fast! My sewing machine is at the way back of a very deep closet. There's been a few things that I'd love to try to make - and even have a few pieces of fabric to experiment with.

Thanks for visiting and leaving such a nice comment. The mileage from my house to Marion's is 261 miles. You are right in that I don't have any hesitation to getting in the car and going - and would love to do it more often. Katie dog doesn't enjoy the car though. I stopped at a vet yesterday and they recommended giving her 1/4 of a benadryl for the ride home. Bless her heart.

Another cold day today and then warmer weather Monday and Tuesday (the day I head back home).

    Hugs,
    Kay
