A fun little craft to make for anyone that loves to do puzzles.
I drew my pattern on card-stock, cut it out,
traced it onto a scrap of 1 X
from Steve's scrap pile,
primed with white paint, and then
used craft paint to decorate.
Do you have a friend that could use
a team of puzzle angels
to help them find the right pieces?
Happy Holidays.

Hi Patricia, they were fun to make. The friend that I made them for is just a few years younger than I, but she has been in a wheel chair since a teenager. She loves to play cards, and bingo and she works on puzzles and bead-work almost everyday. I think she will like them.

Those are cool! I made paper snow flakes with the kiddos the other day...
ReplyDeleteHi, I love making paper snowflakes. The first time that my daughter and I made them, my husband was astounded, and I was amazed that he had never seen or made them as a child. It was something that I thought every kid had made in school, at one time or another.
DeleteGood luck on the give-away.

Adorable snow angels! Now, I wouldn't get close to a saw.....
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kay
I have so much fun working in Steve's shop . . . there are three tools that he has made me promise not to touch . . . that's the table saw, the router, and the chain saw. All for safety reasons, but everything else is okay and I find that I use the band saw, miter saw and drill press the most. You can do a lot with those three tools. The trick is to not let yourself ever get distracted and to use all safety measures. Eyes and finger are something very dear to me :)
DeleteGood luck on the give-away and Merry Christmas
love the angels! so cute! thanks for visiting my blog. Congrats on your anniversary.
ReplyDeleteHi Shelly, I am delighted that you like these little angels.
DeleteIt is so nice to have you visit.
Merry Christmas, Connie :)
I so love your angels!!! I need to do this and let hubby cut me some out. Would make a great project for the children at Church. The painting, not the cutting!! Haha :)
ReplyDeleteIt would be a very sweet craft for them to paint. I gave them to my friend yesterday and she loves them. Not only does she work on puzzles everyday, but she also collects angels :)
DeleteMerry Christmas.
Connie :)

ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, It is great to see you here and thank you for the compliment and for following.

Your blogging sister, Connie :)
These are darling, Connie! I love how you painted them too.
ReplyDeleteKathy M.
Hi Kathy, thank you . . . I saw puzzle angels made from paper and used as tree ornaments, that is where I got the idea. I wanted mine to be able to stand alone so that they could set on a shelf. I gave them to my friend, yesterday, she is wheelchair bound and has been for most of her life . . . she works on puzzles everyday and she also collects angels. Oh, she is a crater too, so she appreciates handmade gifts. I had the best day yesterday. I played and sang that morning at the assisted living where she lives and then went to a friends garage where a few friends gathered to jam all afternoon. I was starting to feel house bound so this was great!. Merry Christmas.
