Hi Cindy, thanks . . . I love that screened porch, too. We have plans to someday screen this one in, too. It's just not at the top of our list of things that need doing. The "need to's" . . . always have to trump the "want to's" :)
What a nice house.....bet it will go fast. You have to leave your Chef in the kitchen and can't take him??? He will be lonely. Love your out door kitchen and screened in porch.....I think I need bedroom #2 for my stamp room (dream on Louise). I am not up to much....going to stain the front porch one of these days and still planting a few flowers yet. Lots of weeds to pull, that is never ending. Good to see you again.
I left my chef . . . I hope that the next owners like him, but if not . . . well there is a season for all things, right? Bedroom 2 was always my favorite, too. That's why I painted another pink bedroom in your bungalow. Summer is filled with busyness and hard work, but I think it is balanced with all the wonderfulness of the season. Have a happy 4th of July, my friend :)
We are meeting with our realtor this afternoon and letting her help us decide on a listing price. We want to put it at a price that will be competitive with other homes in our area :)
Hi Rebecca, me too! It has a great yard for summertime entertaining, so I hope someone buys it in time to enjoy the barbecue season :) Of course my husband says, "Barbecue season, is all year long". :)
If only we were close enough, it could be our holiday home! But I hope that it sells quickly to someone who will put as much love in to the house as you did xxx
Hi Fran, thank you and I certainly hope so, too :) It has been a wonderful home and a great place to raise our daughter and to entertain family and friends.
I love the crown molding in every room. Your home is beautiful. I especially love the kitchen and all the built in shelves are great! I wish I had a screened in porch. My parents had one and they enjoyed it so much. I know it will sell. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your post. I would have followed you often but for some reason you are not showing up on my blog roll. Blogger is crazy sometimes.
Thank you for all of the compliments. One of the reasons that we have crown molding (at lease in the family room) is because my husband has surround sound for the TV. I hate wires everywhere. So we concealed them under the molding. He is wanting to hook it up again in the living room of our little bungalow. All I said was, as soon as you are really to put up molding, then I am ready to help you hook up your surround sound. Sounds fair, right? He agreed, so we added it to our to do list :)
Hi Barbara, I am the same way . . . it's fun to look inside and get ideas. This one is still for sale, and we have come down $25,000 on our price . . . praying for a buyer soon:)
Wow! Look at y'all all moved out and moved on!
ReplyDeleteYay!
And it feels soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Good!
DeleteI would LOVE to move into this home if we were in a position to move. What city is it in?
ReplyDeleteFor you it would be a very long move . . . we are in Washington State, USA.
DeleteMy son and his family just moved up to Battle Ground, Washington .... that is about an hour from where we live.
DeleteOh my goodness . . I looked at your profile and was I ever surprised. All this time I thought you lived in Ireland. My mistake :)
DeleteGosh, who wouldn't want to buy this! Roomy and loaded with crafty extras.
ReplyDeleteHi Ginny, we are praying that someone will come along that will love it as much as we have through the past thirty three years.
DeleteBest of luck with your home sale.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :)
DeleteHope it sells quickly for you. Love the screened in porch!

DeleteAww...it must be so weird to see your house all empty like that! I hope it sells quickly.
ReplyDeleteHi Melanie, it does feel a little weird . . . we have had many happy years in this old house.
DeleteThat back yard looks like an awesome place to spend the summer.
ReplyDeleteHi Ann, it's a very small yard, but we packed a lot into it :)
DeleteIt's a great backyard for entertaining.

DeleteGood luck, but I am sure it will sell fast! Once it is sold you will really enjoy your new home.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, Once it is sold we can pay this house off and feel free again. There is nothing quite so nice as living in a home that is paid off. :)
DeleteWhat a lovely house Connie, good luck with the sale!
