Saturday in Waterville, WA~Part #1

This weekend we went with our friends,
to the small town of Waterville, Washington
to their county fair.

As well as the fair their city park was occupied
by a group called the Rustique Divas.
Here are a few of their trailers.
In my next post I'll show you some of their
creative booths filled with crafts and antiques.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words,
so this post is mostly photos.

These little trailers are so cute, who has words to describe them?

This little trailer was named after this ladies grandmother
and that is grandma's photo on the side by the door.
I hope you enjoyed the little tour.

I will post photos of their booths in a few days.
Be sure and come back.

It was a wonderful day and the first Saturday
that we have taken off from working on our place since
spring when we got the keys and started fixing it up:)

Thanks for visiting,
please leave a comment . . .
I love reading them.

Keep Smiling!
Your blogging sister,
Connie:)

  4. Hi Connie,

Oh bless. Thank you for your lovely comment on my post today! I definitely feel the same about you!
I have a pinboard titled "Camp Trailer Love." Do you know that they make new trailers in the style of these? Yep, I've looked into it for when I retire. Unfortunately I found out that my CRV won't pull much of anything! These are absolutely adorable!!! Thanks for sharing your weekend and I can't wait to see your next post.

    Hugs,
    Kay

  9. Oh! yes!
I very much enjoyed this tour. We have our camper in our sights...and are finally getting it ready to go camping. The Honey has taken charge again and is really wanting to get it up and going for camping. We have had it for 3 years and after he had his heart attack...well, we just didn't mess with it any longer. I'm thrilled about the prospect of camping in it...and traveling and seeing the sights.
These campers you've shown are just adorable.
I bet you are so happy to have a day off-- and get to do something fun. I would very much love touring some in person and your pictures made me feel like I did.

  10. Adorable, I just love 'em! I watched a TV show the other night about flipping RVs, they take old, vintage trailers and refurbish them with the same era fixtures/furnishings as they would have had when built.I can't wait for your next post.

    1. Hi Linda, that show sounded interesting. These little trailers were so cute and it was fun meeting the ladies and seeing their crafts and antiques. Before going to see the trailers we went to the fair, where our young nephew and niece were showing their 4H pigs. They did very well and sold both pigs for $500 each. If they keep this up, by the time they are ready for college they are going to have quite a stash:)

    1. Hi Roxie, I feel the same way you do about your Sweetie, we have not had the motor-home or the boat out all summer. There has been so much work to be done, but if we weren't working on our new little homes, well, we would all be having a sad winter. I feel so happy for you...moving in this week. . . hooray!

  17. After all the hard work you two have been doing you deserved a day out for something fun. This certainly looks like it fit the bill too. I would have loved to see these up close. Love all these trailers I can't imagine spending a weekend camping in one with an entire family, with they sure are cute.
