Good Morning
Blogging Sisters
I have been away on a road trip to visit our daughter and granddaughters,
and wanted to share some of my trip photos with you.
Who doesn't enjoy looking at someone's
little cottage masterpiece.
This little cottage is in Enterprise, Oregon.
I just had to take pictures to show it to you:)
Enjoy the tour...
This is the side gate.
Let's take a closer look at the side entrance.
Love the steps and check out her chicken in the yard.
Everything about this delightful litte cottage is unique.
Including this charming little studio in the backyard.
I wish that I would have had more time.
I would have loved going up and knocking on the front door.
I did get a wave from the owner.
I'm sure that she gets a lot of
camera happy ladies,
drooling over her cottage.
Well, I had a wonderful trip,
but it is always great to be home.
I'll leave you with these photos
and post some more from my trip later.
Have A Lovely Weekend
&
Keep Smiling:)
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
A real fairy tale!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely:)
DeleteOh my goodness, Connie what a delightful cottage! Lovely photographs, and how nice the owner didn't mind you snapping away - as you say she is probably used to it!Lxx
ReplyDeleteHello Lynne, I'll tell you, if you have a house that is as adorable as this one, you better remember to shut your shades when changing clothes. It is way too adorable to not stop and take in all the details and love that this couple has put into it:)
DeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeleteI just pinned those painted steps. I have no stairs, but it makes me want some.
Carol, I know what you mean . . . they are delightful. These folks put a lot of time into creating this little gem:)
DeleteThat is so cute, I love it. I love the writing on the stairs. Have seen something similar elsewhere. I am considering significant ships/boats on our stairs xxxx
ReplyDeleteHi Fran, I think that would be adorable . . . Did you see the headboard that I made in one of our bedrooms.

All that I did was decoupage and we ready like how it turned out:)
what a sweet cottage. So many wonderful details.
ReplyDeleteIt's a little cutie . . . I'll bet that the inside has lots of unique detail, too :)
DeleteWhat a charmer and pink to boot!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I know . . . I think it takes a pretty special husband to give in to his wife and paint their house pink.
DeleteCan you imagine when he gives directions to any of his male friends on how to find their home:)
None the less, it is an adorable cottage . . . a true gem among stones.
Oh my, I'm not surprised you had to stop and take photos, very cute!
ReplyDeleteDo you know of any woman with a camera in her hand that would not take photos of this little cottage?
DeleteI don't think so:) I'm sure that they have happy camera clinking all the time around there:)
Connie- That is just the cutest little cottage imaginable!!! What a fun thing to be able to see it in person and photograph it. It is just so darned cute. That studio puts it over the top. I LOVE your pictures! xo Diana

ReplyDeleteHi Sandy, Enterprise is about 6 miles from Joesph, in Northeastern Oregon.

I know, if I were in the library looking for a book to read to little girls and that cottage was on the cover, I would certainly pick in up:)

thanks for sharing your pictures with us!
Good Morning Patricia, It is always a pleasure having you visit. These folk spent a lot of time on detail and charm.
DeleteThey have a little home to be very proud of :)
Hi Connie,
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a nice visit! Thank you for sharing photos of this adorable home!!! I just love these little painted ladies; so much detail in everything about it. I imagine you are right, the owner must be quite used to people taking photos of her adorable home.
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend; it's almost over!
Hugs,
Kay
Hi Kay, we had a very busy weekend. It started with a retirement party for our nephew. I know!!! These kids are retiring earlier and earlier each year. Poor Steve says' "How can this be, my nephew retiring before me?" Then we have been working on our driveway and yard, graveling and rototilling and raking to get ready to plant grass. We have had so much to do this first year . . . next year should be much easier. We have not gone camping or boating all summer. Thanks so much for stopping by, my dear friend:)
DeleteIt is a darling cottage, Connie.
ReplyDeleteI am curious about what she makes in her shop!
Me, too! Maybe next time I visit, I'll see she outside and introduce myself. Who knows, maybe I'll even get invited to get a tour of her studio or workshop :)
DeleteLovely photos. Lovely place. Esp loved the Black Eyed Susans. :) Never been to Oregon...yet!
ReplyDeleteHello Michael, thanks so much for visiting and welcome to the USA. I hope that you get the time to do a lot of traveling.
DeleteWe have an amazing variety of different climates and landscapes . . . its a beautiful country:)
