Gingerbread House

Good Morning
Blogging Sisters

I have been away on a road trip to visit our daughter and granddaughters,
and wanted to share some of my trip photos with you.

Who doesn't enjoy looking at someone's
little cottage masterpiece.

This little cottage is in Enterprise, Oregon.

I just had to take pictures to show it to you:)
Enjoy the tour...

This is the side gate.

Let's take a closer look at the side entrance.
Love the steps and check out her chicken in the yard.

Everything about this delightful litte cottage is unique.

Including this charming little studio in the backyard.

I wish that I would have had more time.
I would have loved going up and knocking on the front door.
I did get a wave from the owner.
I'm sure that she gets a lot of
camera happy ladies,
drooling over her cottage.

Well, I had a wonderful trip,
but it is always great to be home.
I'll leave you with these photos
and post some more from my trip later.

Have A Lovely Weekend
&
Keep Smiling:)

Your blogging sister,
Connie :)

    1. Hello Lynne, I'll tell you, if you have a house that is as adorable as this one, you better remember to shut your shades when changing clothes. It is way too adorable to not stop and take in all the details and love that this couple has put into it:)

I just pinned those painted steps. I have no stairs, but it makes me want some.

    1. Oh, I know . . . I think it takes a pretty special husband to give in to his wife and paint their house pink.
Can you imagine when he gives directions to any of his male friends on how to find their home:)
None the less, it is an adorable cottage . . . a true gem among stones.

    1. Hi Sandy, Enterprise is about 6 miles from Joesph, in Northeastern Oregon.
This area is great for camping. Maybe next summer you could plan a vacation trip in that direction.
      It is beautiful country:)

So glad you had a nice visit! Thank you for sharing photos of this adorable home!!! I just love these little painted ladies; so much detail in everything about it. I imagine you are right, the owner must be quite used to people taking photos of her adorable home.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend; it's almost over!

    1. Hi Kay, we had a very busy weekend. It started with a retirement party for our nephew. I know!!! These kids are retiring earlier and earlier each year. Poor Steve says' "How can this be, my nephew retiring before me?" Then we have been working on our driveway and yard, graveling and rototilling and raking to get ready to plant grass. We have had so much to do this first year . . . next year should be much easier. We have not gone camping or boating all summer. Thanks so much for stopping by, my dear friend:)
