GIVE-A-WAY #2

Happy Blogging Birthday to me :)
~~~~~*****~~~~~
These last three years have been so much fun . . .
and I have made so many wonderful friends.
I hope that you like the banner above,
because it is half of this weeks Give-A-way.
Before I announce the winner of last weeks give-A-way . . .
I would like to show you some of my
wonderful Goodwill finds.
First is this little shelf.
It was a perfect bargain for only $3.
I love how I can stuff all my little spools of lace
into the cubby-holes.
 These two little free standing shelves were $4 each
and already painted white :)
 I enjoy having little nooks and crannies for storage:)
Then I found two little shelves,
that are perfect for my little jars of buttons, $2 each.
I love the Goodwill
and have been having fun organizing my creative space, on the cheap :)
  ~~~~~*****~~~~~

Okay, you have waited long enough . . .

The winner of last week's Give-A-way
The Dishtowel and Potholder is Cindy of:

 ~~~~~*****~~~~~
Now this weeks Give-A-Way
A shabby chic banner
and my attempt at making a rustic necklace.
The Rules are the same:
1. leave a comment
2. be a follower on Google Friend Connect
That's it!
  I will announce the winner for this on Monday the 19th,
&
then start the third give-a-way.
I hope that you will all visit each post
and get your name in the hat.
God Bless you all.
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
    1. Hi Ann, The older I get the more I realize that you can burn yourself out getting stressed about every little mistake, so if you start out with the attitude that it is not going to be perfect, you can eliminate the stress and have fun :) The point too is that when you're not stressed about it, you do a better job, LOL.
      Win- Win . . . some of the wisdom that we pick up along the road of aging, can be worth a few wrinkles :) I'm happy that you like the banner and good luck :)
    1. Hi Connie, Goodwill is a fun place to shop, you never know what you will find. Sometimes nothing and other times treasures:) I was going to try and make it there today, but my husband just called and we have a man coming this afternoon to work on something out in the shop, so I might need to stay around the house. Mondays are Senior Days at our Goodwill and I get an extra 20% off. Great day to shop :) Thanks for stopping by and good luck on the give-a-way :)
  19. Lucky giveaway winner - congrats to her! Everything you make is so lovely. Great Goodwill finds...my GW hasn't had anything "exciting" for months now. Though there's really nothing I need and I certainly don't need to be bringing any more stuff into this house when I have so much to give away as it is. So perhaps there's a good reason why I'm not finding any treasures, huh? ;-)
    1. Hi Melanie, I know the feeling, but the hunt for treasure sometimes has a very strong pull, LOL. I am so happy that you are visiting and getting in on my give-a-ways. I can hardly believe that I've been blogging for three years. It has been so rewarding . . . making friends and getting a look into what makes us all unique and also so what makes us so alike . . . it has made the world a smaller and cozier place to live. I know that there is a lot of bad going on in the world, but through blogging I have discovered so much love and kindness. Thank you for being my friend and good luck on the give-a-way :)
