Give-A-Way #3

The Beatles sang "Love is All You Need".
Love is wonderful, whether it is from family, friends
or from the warm feeling you get when you
exchange a warm smile and a "good morning" with a stranger
while passing on the sidewalk.

Love has so much power.
The Lord said in 1st Corinthians 13:13,
"So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three;
but the greatest of these is love".
How wonderful would our world be if all people would abide in Love :)
This banner is part of Give-A-Way #3.

The banner and these.

I hope that you have had fun helping me celebrate
my three lovely years of blogging.
It has been so much fun.

The rewards of blogging are so much more than sharing ideas.
It has truly been a journey of new friendships and much love,
and for this I thank you all.

The winner of Give-A-Way #2 is:
Ann of Ann's Snap Edit Scrap
http://annssnapeditscrap.blogspot.com/

I will be sending her an email to get her mailing address :)

This week I also made this banner,

for a dear sweet friend.

And this banner
 for my kitchen window.

It has been a very nice week.
Remember to enter for this Give-A-Way
by following these two simple rules:

1. leave a comment
2. be a follower on Google Friend Connect
That's it!

The winner will be announced on Monday, Jan 26th.

Keep Smiling,
Your blogging sister,

  5. Love your sweet creations.

I quite agree about love ... love from my neighbor who gave us a door for our garden house - just because ... love from a former student who ran past us on our walk the other day - turned around to hug me and tell me that he is graduating from college in the spring ... love from my sweet pup who is snuggled up next to me on the window seat right now.

LOVE is simple yet meaningful gestures!

    I forgot 1

LOVE is my dear friend Connie who made me a special banner - just because. That banner is going to hang on the door of my new garden house when it gets decorated.

    1. Hi Nancy, actually I have been busy. Yesterday was an exceptionally warm day and I spent the day working on our fences. Then today I put together a shelving unit from Home Depot and cleaned and organized the well house. I had these gifts made a couple of weeks ago in preparation for my 3 year blogging birthday. So, this week and last week I have been organizing and cleaning. I think our few days for warm weather gave me a little taste of "Spring Fever". Here's wishing you good luck on the give-a-way, your name is in the hat :)

  29. Hi Connie, not entering again since I was the lucky winner of the first give a way, but just wanted to say how much I love your crafty posts. You are very talented. The bunting is fabulous. Do you leave the edges raw when you make your bunting or do you turn it under? I want to make some at some point this winter.

    1. Hi Cindy, I do them both ways. If I'm going for the shabby chic look and my fabric is medium to heavy, I like to leave them raw, but if it is lightweight quilting fabric I like to made them double and turn them right side out like a little pillowcase :) Did your package arrive yet? I didn't get it mailed until Tuesday, so it should be showing up soon :) Have a great day!
