My Day Dreaming Chair

Are you a day dreamer?
Me too!
Now I have a special spot to do it:)
Do you remember my Goodwill chair?

After giving it a coat of white paint . . .

and making a big mess . . .

and cleaning it up,
well at least washing the brushes . . .
 It is finished:)
 What do you think?

That's it . . .
the perfect chair to day dream in.
Come on over and try it out.
Oh, the last thing . . .
It's art . . .right?
 ~~~~~*****~~~~~
So, I thought I should sign it:)
~~~~~*****~~~~~
Have a wonderful day!
 Your blogging sister,
Connie :)

  20. Connie! You are an artist too! I feel like such an idiot! I've been thinking lately, wonder when Connie is going to post again. Looking at my blog list I decide to click on "crafty home cottage" and there you are! I've missed three posts. You may have figured out that I am not much of a computer person. My daughter helped me start a blog. I know just enough to get by. :) I love your daydreaming chair. And, your last post, your vegetable and flower beds are beautiful. The Zinnias are beautiful!

    1. When I started my blog, I went to the store and purchased Blogging For Dummies :) So, that tells you where I am as far as the internet and computers. Without that book and help from my blogging sisters, I wouldn't be here in blog-land. I find that anytime I want to learn something, I can find a blogging sister than has it on her blog and ask. Most bloggers are very helpful to walk you through a new step. Just the other day I learned how to put Pinterest on my sidebar. Blogging is a wonderful network of friends, sharing ideas, comforting in time of need, praying for one another and a great place to learn new computer skills.
      Thank you for your sweet comments. You inspire me to put my best foot forward. This chair was so much fun and gardening is new to me, but I'm learning a lot about it on-line and doing my best. I love zinnias, because they hold up so well. They will last a good week in a vase and sometimes more. They bloom all summer into frost and the more you cut, the more they bloom. besides that, they are such happy flowers . . . bright and cheery and ready to put a smile on your face each time you walk out the door.
      Here's wishing you a marvelous day, thanks for stopping by. You are a sweetie pie:)

    Thank you for checking in on me. Its been 1 month since the knee surgery and I have good days and bad days. Every week gets better. I hurt my ankle doing some exercises for the knee so that's slowed me down a bit and it's swollen also. I haven't even like doing anything crafty at all. I Give Myself another couple of weeks before I start to get worried!

  42. ROFL Connie - the idea that you of all people have time to sit around daydreaming is utterly hilarious lol lol!!! Love it!! Your chair is a work of art! It is really, really fun, and so pretty! I bet everyone who comes will laugh too! Knowing how busy and creative you are, I can't imagine you ever having time to sit down!

    Thank you for your visit and your lovely comment. Your offer of the art books is tempting! Maybe I should pop over and sit in the daydreaming chair lol! Meanwhile, I have to be satisfied with Youtube and Pinterest and lots of inspiration from people's blogs etc.! What would we do without the Internet? I do try to keep positive. I am feeling a bit better today, so I am hoping to have more energy in the next few days to be able to do some creative stuff before my next treatment on 24th (the half-way point!).

I have saved a lot of money not buying magazines . . . but I do buy them once in a while :) It's hard to go cold turkey on a habit that you've had since you were a teenager.
