Hi Connie, no need to enter me in the give-away, but I just wanted to say, as I began reading your post today, I thought "oh, do they have solar powered clothes dryers now??" Giggle. Just goes to show how our sense of things changes with the times. Then, of course, I realized you meant the outdoor clothes line! Love it.
ReplyDeleteHey I'm back!!!! WOOHOO!!! A screwdriver and some aerosol dust remover and I fixed it (keeping fingers crossed) So, you have to read the very small post on my blog about my solar clothes dryer. http://thebeeladyfromhilltopfarm.blogspot.com/search?q=clothes+dryer It's too cute. Back when my nieces were young and cute! I need this stuff for my new laundry room...whenever it gets fini'! (that's french for finished!)
ReplyDeleteChat later...it feels GOOD to be back!!!!

Oh and PS - We had our annual July 4 party this weekend...yup, we are even behind on that! And my sister and the boys' that I used to watch Mom were taking stuff out of the oven and they grabbed the potholder that you made that I have hanging up and I said, "Ummm do not use that it is decoration!" They looked at each other with "that look" and put it back!
ReplyDeleteCindy Bee (again) bye.....for real....gotta extract honey NOW!
So very cute, i love it!
ReplyDeleteI follow you and here is my comment! I'm in Pryor OK as we visited my husband's brother today. On to the Lake of the Ozarks tomorrow. I also want a clothesline.. yours is great! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteHow sweet of you Connie! I just commented to a blog friend that laundry is my favorite household chore! I'm a follower sweet friend. Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteI love your 'solar clothes dryer', I almost googled it when I read it, as I thought it was a new invention! LOL! Lovely giveaway, but please don't put my name in the draw as I live in the UK and postage can be expensive. xx
ReplyDeleteConnie, I have to say, I love your solar powered clothes line. LOL. You know everything is new again. Many people are using those. I sure remember my mother's. Love your new washing banner and the little clothes pin bag. Sweet. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteIf only I could send you some rain! I have tried to be grateful for every little drop as I know many places are drying up. Clothes lines are so fun and frugal! I love all of your new laundry touches.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a proper laundry room only a furnace room:) You made some really cute give aways, someone will be a lucky winner:)
ReplyDeleteA solar clothes dryer - never heard a washing line called this before :)
ReplyDeleteMost folks use clothes lines to dry all their washing in Australia. We only use a dryer when the rain won't stop.
I have a solar powered dryer as well..Used it today..Mine doesn't have a sprinkler under it..Kinda defeats the purpose??? Have a good eve..
ReplyDeleteNothing like a clothesline! I love sheets and pillowcases that have hung on the line. They smell so good!
ReplyDeleteWell...isn't that sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love your banner and bag! It would be cute hanging in my laundry room AND! GIVE ME A BIG INCENTIVE TO CLEAN UP IN THERE. ;)
It needs it!
I hang out laundry to dry... cold, hot, sunny, cloudy... and yep! I've had clothes get a second rinse cycle on the clothes line!
I mean... it happens!
Hanging laundry is my favorite thing to do!
I love your new solar air dryer! Mine is the porch railing and the backs of patio chairs. ;-) I love the things your made for a laundry room, but I will pass on this lovely giveaway only because I won your last one. Wouldn't be fair to others to put my name "in the hat" this time.
ReplyDeleteHi Connie, thanks for visiting me and my craft room. Your banner and bag is adorable and so creative...thanks for the chance!!
ReplyDeleteConnie, you really are very crafty. I loved your cute project. I think it turned out wonderful and it will make such a pretty addition to anyone's laundry room. I hope you have an amazing weekend... :)
