I started sewing them together back in November 2013 . . .
and then I put them up and forgot about them.
Have you ever done that?
Well, I have decided that I need to start
finishing some of the things that I've
started, so now this one
is checked off my list.

It feels so good to say,
"Done!"
I only have four or five of these unfinished projects, LOL

So,Onward and Upward . . .
time to dig out another forgotten project:)

What have you stashed away and forgotten?

    1. Thank you . . . it was about time I finished it, right? It is so easy to stash things away in the cupboard and forget about them. Out of sight out of mind, LOL.
Thanks for stopping by and saying hello.

    1. Hi Susie, Oh, I'm sorry you're sad, but that is a compliment to me that you liked what I made. I always worry when I have a give-a-way that I'm putting something in it that will be liked. You're a sweetie pie and thank you for the blessing, you too have a wonderful weekend.

    1. Thank you I am happy that you like it. I think that I could have done a better job quilting it . . . I just wanted to get it done. I'm working on another forgotten project now, but I'm hand quilting it and taking my time. It will probably be a gift, so I want it to be as perfect as I'm capable of doing :)

    1. Oh, you will love making them. I like them because they are perfect for a project in front of the TV in the evening with the hubby :) Also, because I think they have such a nostalgic look about them.

  7. I have one unfinished quilt, I need to get out and finally finish, I am at the mitered border and there is a small one and a large one to put on then on the big border some applique and that has held me back from finishing but I may just have to get it out and finally finish it :) Yours is just lovely, that is on my wish list to do a hexagon quilt!

    1. Hi Connie, I hope that my mission to finish my unfinished projects can inspire you to get cracking, LOL. I'll be watching for a post on your quilt . . . don't rush it though . . . I got in a hurry with this one, and I know that I could have done a better job if I would have slowed down and taken a little more time. Hexies are so much fun to make, you will love them:)

  11. Hi Connie, Oh, my that sure is pretty and looks like a lot of work. I am not going to think about the things waiting for me to finish. Right now I can hardly keep the kitchen and laundry done and pick the few things from the garden. The weather here today is suffocating. Hot and muggy. I don't know how you survive your hot weather this year. Take care! Nancy

    1. Hi Nancy, today we are having an overcast day and our temperatures have dropped to 81 today . . . that is a huge drop and it feels so good:) I'm happy that you like my quilt. I've pulled another out from hiding and I have it on my frame and starting to hand quilt it. I forgot how much I enjoy hand quilting . . . it is so peaceful and relaxing. I do hope that you get to feeling better soon. Does it seem like your new medicine is helping?
