Saturday Yard Sale Bargain.

Friday evening we decided to roast hot dogs for dinner.

Steve wanted chips so I ran to the store.

While I was there I picked up a

Nickel Saver.

To my surprise our neighbors two houses down the road
 were having a yard sale.

 I always get excited and forget to take before photos.

This chest of drawers was solid wood,

but the top drawer was broken.

So they had it priced at $5.

 I didn't have pink paint so I mixed some

white and red together 

and painted the frame.

  Then I took some drawer liner paper,

 that I had bought years ago at the thrift store,

 And used decoupage glue . . .

And covered the three good drawers.

I spray painted the handles white.

 Put them back on.

 As you can see I left the top drawer out,

to use as a shelf. 

Not bad for $5 and an afternoon project.

I love having creative storage

in my Art Barn.

Well, that is what I did today.
