    1. I am so happy that you like them. They did take some time to create, but I was thinking that they might be cute used to make a banner, too :) The X really threw me for a while, what do you do with a X ?

  4. Oh Connie, I just love this! You have made me smile and chuckle as I looked at your very imaginative ABCs!! I particularly love the X one - that is so sweet, and a lovely way to get round a difficult letter lol lol! Thank you for giving me a lift as I rest on the recliner feeling a bit rough after some very busy days!

Thank you for your lovely comment - I am so glad you enjoyed your virtual tour of one of our historic country houses. I am sure you are right that there must be some genetic memory linking you to this old country of ours! We are so blessed to live here and have so much beauty on our doorstep - although Montacute was a little further afield than we usually go. It was such a lovely day out!

I hope one day that your dream will come true to visit the UK and explore all these delights for yourself.

  8. What a unique idea! I love it! Was so fun looking at your little cards. Would you mind if I CASE this someday? Would be so fun to go through the journey of finding the things that I love, that go with my style and each letter. You did great on the X! I liked your "i" and "h".... great to have an "h" around.... my mind is already buzzing with ideas. All bloggers I think would have fun doing this. You are so creative! Marilyn

  9. I forgot a question I have. How did you get your pictures side by side? I have "blogger" too but for the life of me can't get them side by side! Marilyn

    1. What I did was I created a page in my publishing program and then saved each page of four cards as a picture. It worked great. What publishing software do you have on your computer?

    2. That makes total and perfect sense! So smart you are! I use Broderbund Print Shop and Print Master.. they can do amazing things much like Photoshop but much easier and more user friendly. I also use Pic Monkey now and then to use overlays and make collages. But I'm already seeing what I can do now in my Print Shop program. Thanks for your help and so glad I can do this one of these days. I love something different to do! Marilyn

    1. I created pages of four cards each in publisher. Then I saved each page as a picture and put those pictures into my post. It took a little playing around before I figured it out, but once I did, it worked quite well :)

    1. I thought for a long time on the letter X . . . what starts with an X ? I was wishing that I had a barn-door or gate with an X brace, but didn't. Then the XOXOXO came to mind, LOL.

  17. Connie, I've been following you on Bloglovin already! Haha. I don't comment as much as I should so you may not have seen my name very often. However, I have to say, I love these ABCs. I'll definitely have to do this for the Grand Girls - or at least that is what I'll tell them - when it will really be for me!

    1. It would look nice on my front porch. I remember my Aunt Jane's kitchen; she had running water in her kitchen, but when they put it in they added a new sink and kept the old sink with an old pump too. I always thought it looked so cool.
