Your blogging sister,

Love it! Such a fun idea and post!
ReplyDeleteGrace & Peace,
Pam
Thanks, it took a little time, but it was fun :)
DeleteWhat a lot of thought and effort you put into this. With such lovely results. I love those Alphabet cards a lot!!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you like them. They did take some time to create, but I was thinking that they might be cute used to make a banner, too :) The X really threw me for a while, what do you do with a X ?
DeleteI love this!
ReplyDeleteThank you Carol . . . It was fun :)
DeleteWhat a lovely idea. Loved it!!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI love how you summarize the idea of country living! Very beautiful ♥

You are so sweet, thank you :)
DeleteOh Connie, I just love this! You have made me smile and chuckle as I looked at your very imaginative ABCs!! I particularly love the X one - that is so sweet, and a lovely way to get round a difficult letter lol lol! Thank you for giving me a lift as I rest on the recliner feeling a bit rough after some very busy days!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comment - I am so glad you enjoyed your virtual tour of one of our historic country houses. I am sure you are right that there must be some genetic memory linking you to this old country of ours! We are so blessed to live here and have so much beauty on our doorstep - although Montacute was a little further afield than we usually go. It was such a lovely day out!
I hope one day that your dream will come true to visit the UK and explore all these delights for yourself.
Shoshi x
Oh, I hope so, too, but it will probably never happen. Therefore; I can tag along with sister blogger like you and enjoy from my desktop :) Thank you.
DeleteSuch fun! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Hi Betsy, and thank you for stopping by to visit.
DeleteI enjoyed looking through your alphabet.. I recognized a lot of the photos from past blog posts. You did very well! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you sweet sister :)
DeleteWhat a neat idea. Those would make a pretty book.
ReplyDeleteYou're so sweet, thank you :)
DeleteWhat a unique idea! I love it! Was so fun looking at your little cards. Would you mind if I CASE this someday? Would be so fun to go through the journey of finding the things that I love, that go with my style and each letter. You did great on the X! I liked your "i" and "h".... great to have an "h" around.... my mind is already buzzing with ideas. All bloggers I think would have fun doing this. You are so creative! Marilyn
ReplyDeleteMarilyn, I would be honored if you took this idea and made it your own . . . I just want to be sure and see your post when you publish it :) Have Fun!!!
DeleteI forgot a question I have. How did you get your pictures side by side? I have "blogger" too but for the life of me can't get them side by side! Marilyn
ReplyDeleteWhat I did was I created a page in my publishing program and then saved each page of four cards as a picture. It worked great. What publishing software do you have on your computer?
DeleteThat makes total and perfect sense! So smart you are! I use Broderbund Print Shop and Print Master.. they can do amazing things much like Photoshop but much easier and more user friendly. I also use Pic Monkey now and then to use overlays and make collages. But I'm already seeing what I can do now in my Print Shop program. Thanks for your help and so glad I can do this one of these days. I love something different to do! Marilyn
DeleteSo creative - how did you do this?
ReplyDeleteI created pages of four cards each in publisher. Then I saved each page as a picture and put those pictures into my post. It took a little playing around before I figured it out, but once I did, it worked quite well :)
DeleteSO creative! I love it!! The teacher in me loves anything that looks like flash cards...:) Have a wonderful week in the country!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Vicky
Hi Vicky, I knew that my teacher sisters would love these . . . and I'm so happy that I was right. They were fun to make and I think that I might at some point turn them into a banner :)
DeleteHi Connie, What a fun idea you did! I like the way you used X. We have a similar picture in the sand when we were in Hawaii. Your mind just keeps coming up with all these neat ideas! Nancy
ReplyDeleteI thought for a long time on the letter X . . . what starts with an X ? I was wishing that I had a barn-door or gate with an X brace, but didn't. Then the XOXOXO came to mind, LOL.
DeleteHonestly our world revolve around all this. This is the best way to summarize our lives.
ReplyDeleteHow about a roofing construction alphabet, are you up to it?
DeleteIt could be fun!
That was such a fun post, I really did enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :)
DeleteThat is just too cute, I love your X post ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Connie, I had all the letters done except X . . . that one took a little more imagination, LOL.
DeleteI love this idea as well and may have to try it! I especially love your M for morning glories and r for roses! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI hope that you do try this; it was a fun project. I want to see your post if you do :)
DeleteConnie, I've been following you on Bloglovin already! Haha. I don't comment as much as I should so you may not have seen my name very often. However, I have to say, I love these ABCs. I'll definitely have to do this for the Grand Girls - or at least that is what I'll tell them - when it will really be for me!
ReplyDeleteHave fun! I think that you will enjoy the process, it might even be fun to use a family theme :)
DeleteI think these ABC cards are wonderful.. Great idea. Happy Fall. Enjoy your day with love Ja ice

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Diane, it did take some time, especially figuring out what to do with the letter X, LOL.
DeleteThanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment, I appreciate it :)
What a fun post! Very creative! Thank you so much for visiting me today. My water pump plant stand would look fabulous on your front porch! I wish I had a covered porch- I'd be putting it out there for the summers!
ReplyDeleteIt would look nice on my front porch. I remember my Aunt Jane's kitchen; she had running water in her kitchen, but when they put it in they added a new sink and kept the old sink with an old pump too. I always thought it looked so cool.
DeleteThis had to have taken awhile to put together. I love it. I'm a country girl now too and I love it.
ReplyDeleteIsn't county life wonderful!
DeleteCutest comment ever :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful place you have here! :-o) mari
