Give-A -Way Christmas Pillow Cover

I've seen these farmhouse designer pillows
in the catalogs . . .
well, all of you that know me,
know that if I can make it instead of spending
hard earned money, I will :)

Pillow ticking in navy blue.

Heavy duty painters drop cloth

.
Stencils . . .
I have certainly got my moneys worth
from this stencil.
I've used it many times:)
Plain black craft paint.

After painting these,
I hung them up to dry before
sewing them into pillow covers.

Here they are finished.

I made these two for me.

  6. Thanks so much for your kind support for me thru my very hard time...you are such a good blogging friend.
I also thank you for letting me know about your most generous giveaway. What adorable pillows. You are very good at this kind of thing. I would have that pretty black paint smeared all over the place. Stencils and I don't get along very well.
If I am blessed to win JOY, I surely will do the happy dance. It's beyond adorable.
O...and I've been your follower for a long time. xo

What is it about using drop cloth? I love the texture, the fact that I can use one drop cloth for so many projects and the ease of sewing with it. And now, I need to order a few fun stencils.

  33. Hi Connie.. just beautiful pillows! I LOVE the ones with the ticking and black stenciling. Do you recall where you got those stencils specifically? I love the Happy Home one. I used to stencil on fabric years ago. Does it wash out or do you set it with an iron? I can't remember what I did! Please enter my name in your drawing. The Christmas pillow is darling too. I think I'm going to go right now and search the web for cute stencils! Have a good holiday with your family and company! Marilyn
