The Winner Is: Plus A New Project

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday
with our daughter, granddaughters and
even great-granddaughters.
We are truly blessed.

This morning I drew a name
from all the names that entered my
Give-A-Way
and the winner is:
Marilyn
of
Mountain Top Spice
https://mountaintopspice.blogspot.com/
Marilyn lives in Northern Idaho
and her blog is filled with amazing
photos of the landscape around her area
as well as recipes and gardening.
 ~~~~~🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲~~~~~
I wish that I would have been able to make
a pillow to send to everyone that entered.
 ~~~~~🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲~~~~~

 While you are here . . .

 I want to show
you my latest project.
~~~~~***~~~~~
I was going through some things out
in the well house, when I found this
little dress that was mine when I was a baby.
So I decided to wash and starch it
and make a hanger for it.
The hanger is cut from a piece of scrap plywood.
I cut it, sanded it and painted it.
So now I have this little dress hanging
in a bedroom:)
~~~~~***~~~~~
I just want to say Thank You
to all of my sweet and loyal followers.
Blogging was been a very sweet experience.

Every one of you has inspired me
in one way or another,
and I am grateful for your
friendship.

Your blogging sister,
Connie :)

    1. We have had company for a week and it was wonderful . . . lots of hugs and lots of good memories to hold us until we see each other again:) Not only did our daughter and granddaughters visit, but we also met our other granddaughter and her family halfway between our home and hers, for lunch one day. All in all a great Thanksgiving . . . we have so much to be thankful for.

  5. Daughters, granddaughters and yet another granddaughter...your family leans heavily on the female side.
    On my DH's side of the family there were 12 granddaughters before any grandsons were born. Girls are fun but so are boys.
    So lovely that your Mom kept the little dress and now you can display it.

  10. Sounds like you had a wonderful time with your family. Being with our kids and other family members just makes a holiday so complete. And what a neat idea making the little hanger for your baby dress. I wish I had something of mine from when I was little. My mom was such a collector of things but she didn't save any of our baby clothes. How fun to have it hanging up where you can enjoy it.

    1. My Momma didn't save much either, but I do have this dress and a pair of little cowboy boots from when I was around 2 or 3; they are pretty special, too :)

    1. One of the things that I love about blogging is seeing where everyone lives. I don't have a budget for traveling and I have a husband that has never been interested in traveling. So, blogs like Marilyn's where I can visit and enjoy the beauty of her state is a treat. Thanks so much for stopping by and for your sweet and encouraging comments. We have been blogging sisters for a long time now and I truly appreciate your friendship :)

    1. I do feel blessed that my Momma hung on to it . . . she did a lot of moving in her day, back and forth from the Midwest to the Western coast and just packing the trunk and backseat of her car. She kept a box of her family treasures, mostly photographs, but among her treasures were this little dress and my first little pair of cowboy boots:)
