Give-A-Way

What all my followers know about me
is that I love blogging.
It has been that sisterhood of everyday friends
that I lost when I retired.
There are times when retirement
can seem a little lonely.
 Steve's still working
and although I get out a lot with friends,
 there are stretches of days
when my blogging sisters
are my only daytime companions.
Well, except for my little mutt Butchy. :)
He is a lot of company.
 I feel blessed to have this blog
and all my lovely sisters.
That is why I am celebrating my 6 years
of blogging with this Give-A-Way.
Hold on . . .
enjoy the photos of some of my banner making,
as I tell you about the Give-A-Way and how to enter.

I also love the way blogging sisters come together
from every corner of the globe
to help each other and to share their lives.

 I've found that it doesn't matter if you are
 in the States, the UK, Norway, Australia,
 Chili, or Africa . . .
we all share a bond of sisterhood.
We all have similar interests,
we all love our families,
we all want to create a home
that is comfortable and pleasing.

Our similarities far
out number our differences.

And that makes me smile :)

I started this Give-A-way last week.
but if you leave another comment here . . .
you'll have your name in the hat twice.

All you have to do to enter is:

Be a follower on
 "My Delightful Follower's List"
  (you can find it just under my profile in the sidebar)
&
Leave a comment.

~~~~~***~~~~~
The prize will be a $25 dollar
gift certificate to shop at Amazon.com.
That's it!
Drawing will be made and posted
Saturday January 20th.
Keep Smiling!
Connie :)
  12. I love your banners! Do you hang them for each holiday or month? I have made a couple, but you've inspired me to make a couple more... I think I'll make a heart banner for Valentine's Day. Thanks for the inspiration!
  13. Your banners are lovely. I have plans to make one for our house, too, but don't know when I'll get to it. So many projects, so little time.
  14. Your banners are adorable! I really love the one made with jean pockets. I've used those pockets in my crafting for many years but never thought of them in a banner. Your craft barn has given me inspiration for my retirement!
You share so many ideas. I have so many things I want to make that I will never get them all done if I live to be a hundred! Your right about blogging friends. They help the days to not be so lonely. Thank you for your generosity and congratulations to whoever wins! My husband and I together make up a half a person at our age! LOL Nancy
  27. Hey girlie :-) Loving all the pennants you've made, super cute! I've been trying to find a "word" for the year, I like the "Hold On" plus the photo... it has been a weird past few months... and "holding on" is basically what I've been doing! lol
  30. Well how nice that you are having a give away! I already am a follower and I wish you lived closer! Because I would help you with granny squares and you could help me with bunting! I need one in a certain spot and I have been putting off making it! Yours are beautiful! Not only that, but I get lonely too. My Shug works afternoons so I have long evenings. Everyone else is with their families during this time of day. We could sit on the porch and drink tea and crochet and make bunting!!!
  34. I sort of thought it might be one of those super cute banners! But, the gift certificate would be great too. I'll be posting about your giveaway to help spread the word and hope you're ok with my using a picture or two to announce your giveaway. I know just what you mean about retirement being lonely sometimes. We are far away from our daughters and families due to elderly parents we need to stay near. The sandwich generation sucks!
  35. Love those banners! I agree with you about the wonderful friendships available to us through blogging. I love my blog friends! Thanks for the give-away!
  41. Hello pretty lady! I'm so sorry I have been absent lately. I sure have missed visiting with you. All your banners are precious and I am so happy to own one of your beautiful creations. :) I trust you and your dear hubby had a lovely Christmas. I'm sure you have been having lots of snow as well. We have had some very cold weather for Florida. This morning it was 22 degrees! Oh my...I'm ready to move to the tropics. LOL! I hope you have a delightful Friday. Hugs to you my friend.
    Blessings, Vicky
  47. I'm following you too.... always love your posts.. your banners are so pretty and I keep meaning to make one but never do. Oh I'm so behind these days!Can't seem to get caught up with myself and my brain! So far January is speeding by with too much "busy-ness" on my part. Haven't slowed down enough to smell the frosty air outside....... a big truck down by La Pine where my sister lives, slid on ice and tipped over and dumped out hundreds of boxes of wonderful big apples from Washington.. so she snagged two boxes and gave me one, so I need to make applesauce.. and my computer has been on the blink.... and I've been trying to finish up some things for Etsy shop... and then had them all ready to go and my computer died and I was going to try to use my tablet but that's too much of a hassle..... just too many things piling up.. and my Christmas decorations are still up! Oh me oh my. Thank you for the give-away and chance to win. A person can ALWAYS use an Amazon gift card! They are wonderful! Hugs.. Marilyn
