Love Will Keep Us Together

Looking through some old photos
and
trying so very hard to count my blessings.

We just celebrated 43 years of marriage . . .
I love this man with all my heart.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

Prayer is all that's holding me
together, some days.

I don't want to sound pathetic,
but my soul is aching in a way
that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

God bless you all
and
thank you for your blogging friendship,
love and prayers.

They mean everything.

Connie

  4. You are often in my thoughts and prayers, Connie and Steve. I read this prayer recently and thought of you:

    Evening comes when You call,
and all nature listens to You
    because You hold it all.
    And now You hold me.

Blessed are You, O Lord our God,
    King of the universe!
    At Your word night falls.
In Your wisdom You open heaven's gates.
You set the stars in the vault of heaven.
    You created night and day.

    Blessed are You, O Lord,
    at whose word night falls.
    All nature listens to You,
    because You hold it all,
    and now You hold me.

from the Talmud and a song by Annie Herring and Matthew Ward

    Hugs and prayers....

  11. God is for you not against you. It sounds like you know that very well, so I am not sure why I felt like I should write it. Maybe it just a little reminder. He is for you. And He can do anything.

    Praying for you right now.

  17. Hi Connie- I've been thinking about you guys for weeks now- hoping, wishing and praying that you and Steve will be OK and continue on with the lovely country life you've shared all these past 43 years together. My Chris and I have been together for 42 years- so we're not far behind you. This'l make you laugh...Chris picked me up at Leumeah Inn all those years ago back in 1977- and Chris invited me to share her 'Flat' at Campbelltown -and I moved in the next night and we've been together ever since! We're complete opposites- and as they say: 'opposites attract'. Love and Best Wishes. KEV. (AUSTRALIA).

I loved seeing all the signs of spring at your house and I love your attitude about cancer. I have so many friends who took that attitude and kicked cancer.

We are just ahead of you - we celebrated 48 years on April 3.
