Celebrating The 4th Of July

Life is good!

I'm proud to be an American
and I love celebrating the 4th of July!

Don't take freedom for granted . . .
brave men and women
have laid their lives on the line
for our freedom.

Let's honor them with gratitude.

Today, I celebrate
with photos from my blog
past and present:

I made my first batch of jam "2019"
the other day:)

Tomorrow morning I'll be getting up early
and baking pies for a family BBQ.

This is one of my favorites . . .
strawberry rhubarb.

Tomorrow I'll be baking
Amish Apple and Blackberry.

Have a happy holiday.

Keep Smiling!

Your blogging sister,
Connie :)

  29. I love your 4th of July decorations... it's a big holiday in our family as it was my mother's birthday. She passed three years ago but we still celebrate because she was a patriot and would expect us to continue the tradition. I've been wanting to make strawberry freezer jam... your raspberry jam looks delicious!

  30. Catching up Connie now that we've sold our cottage and are in the process of finding a new home in a new state. Your pie crust looks amazing. Just like my grandmothers when I was a kid.
