Good Day My Sweet Friends!
I thought that I would share
a project that I am working on.
If fact I counted and I have
five quilts in the process of being made.
Is that called productive
or
procrastination?
Beats me?
I'm thanking you again for your prayers,
My surgeries are over . . .
I have had complications that are being
addressed in hope of not having to
go through another surgery.
When it's your eyes, there is a fear
that does it's best to creep in.
I am standing in faith
and walking with Jesus.
Also; asking for your support in prayer.
I do believe in the power of prayer :)
I go back to the doctor again this Tuesday,
then they will determine the next step.
My hope is that everything is starting to heal
and another surgery will not be necessary.
Thank you . . .
for your prayers
and for being my friend :)
Praying that all will be well dear Connie.
ReplyDeleteLovely quilts!
(prayers)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your surgeries are over but I'm so sorry to hear that you've had complications. I'm praying that everything turns out well for you.
ReplyDeleteLove the looks of that quilt you're working on. Usually if I have multiple projects going on it means that something just isn't going to get finished...lol
Another beautiful quilt! Do you still work in your art barn or do you stick mostly to working inside your house now? Oh, I hope you won't need to have anymore surgery. I will be praying for your eye health and healing. {{hugs to you}}
ReplyDeletePrayers your way! Pretty quilt! Can I ask what seeing machine you use? You sew so much I am sure you can reccomend. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear 5 quilts to look forward to. All will be well, Connie, you have faith♥ Be safe and well.
ReplyDeletePrayers
ReplyDeleteHi Connie, I am sorry that you are having problems from your surgeries. I will pray that they will be okay. I have been having a problem with high blood pressure lately so hope that straightens out. Your quilts are beautiful but look hard to make. Hugs, Nancy
ReplyDeleteI hope you can find comfort in the prayers and in the statistics that say only a tiny, tiny percentage of these cataract surgery complications are not easily and completely fixed with an additional surgery. I know no one wants more surgery, but the odds are very much in your favor and the prayers are going UP!
ReplyDeleteHi Connie, hoping everything checks ok on your next Dr. Visit. The quilts are beautiful, especially because I see so.e black prints my favorite. Haven't put together a quilt in a very long time but I think you have inspired me to get started. Lisa @SweetTea N' Salty Air
ReplyDeleteHi Connie- Thinking of you and wishing you all the very best for your next Eye Appointment -hoping you won't need further surgery and it will all be good news. Love your Quilting - you are a very clever Lady. Best Wishes. KEV. (Sydney- AUSTRALIA).
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty fabric! Do you shop for new material or use what's in your "stash"?
ReplyDeleteI have so many unfinished projects, mercy...
You continue to be in my prayers.
Blessings, Linda
Hi Linda, I've been answering comments either by email or on other's blogs, but couldn't find a way to do that with you. So, hope you come back and read this. I did the center and the blocks all with fabric that I had in my stash, then I ordered two more pieces that I'm using in the broader from an on-line store. Ever since Covid I have been doing less fabric store shopping and more stash shopping :)
DeleteHope everything goes well for you.
ReplyDeleteFive quilts in the making sounds delightful. I love the black, white, and gray tones you're using.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see your blog post, it's like getting a letter from my dear friend! I'm so sorry you are having complications from your eye surgeries. I hope and pray they will be resolved. Praying Praying Praying for you dear. Your hexi quilt is gorgeous... a nice change of colors and like the black in it. You are so energetic! I'm envious. I've been a slug. Will send you an email very soon! Hugs... Marilyn
ReplyDeleteDear Connie, I pray that all will be well with your eyes. I had to laugh at your productivity vs procrastination question - it's the same around here. Lots of projects on the go. My goal is to finish things, but then I get started on new ones!
ReplyDeleteHello sweet, sweet sister Connie. I have been praying for you several times a day. The dear Lord is sure hearing from people all over, lifting your name before Him.
ReplyDeleteYour quilts are all so lovely. I'm not finding much time for crafting at the moment but I'm hoping it gets better soon. Mom is requiring quite a lot of time and so is the house at the moment. Once all of our belongings arrive and are put in place I'm sure it will get easier to find time to craft too. I keep reminding myself that some things are much more important that yarn! :-)
Praying for peace and comfort for you too my dear friend.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
Love the quilt and colors!! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWill be praying all goes well tomorrow at the doctors.
Your quilts are looking great.
ReplyDeletePrayers for tomorrow that they can help you without having to go through anymore surgeries.
I can't wait to see the finished quilt, I love the black and white. Keeping you in my prayers. I hope you get good news tomorrow. Blessings...
ReplyDeleteConnie, I will be praying for your Doctors appointment tomorrow and that you get a good report....
ReplyDeleteGod Bless,
Debbi Saunders
You are queen of quilt makers! I think you're brilliant...and amazing. Your quilts are beautiful! Oh Connie, I hope and pray your eyes heal and no more surgery is needed. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeletePraying for you my friend.
ReplyDeleteI do love your quilts.
Please keep us update on how you are doing.
Love, Carla
I just said a prayer for you, my friend. And the quilt you are working on is very nice. I love black and white combination. My sister used to sew quilts, and I always thought it was such a talent. And my Mom was a talented seamstress.
