The End Of May

This month is coming to a close.

 Hasn't it gone by fast.

It's Memorial Day already.

I have just a few photos to share with you.

 Beulah had her surgery,

sorry Beulah, no puppies for you :(

Before her surgery I took her

in for a haircut.

This is her before shot.

This is after :)

My Clematis is in full bloom.

We had a little visitor,

in one of our trees.

The Iris are blooming.

And look at what I discovered

in one of the rose bushes.

It will be fun to watch

them hatch,

that is if Beulah doesn't

discovery them first.

Have a lovely weekend . . .

June is just around the corner :)

Remember to put God first.

Your blogging sister,

Connie :)

  1. Beulah is a fluffy darling, is she a poodle? Or? I like your two color clematis, mine are in bloom now and are solid color.

  4. Good Morning Connie. It's so good to see your post. Beulah is a sweetheart. I would love to get a dog but it's just not in the plans right now, especially with a possible trip overseas soon. I wouldn't want to burden anyone with a puppy/dog.
I enjoyed seeing all of the lovely photos from around your home. How blessed you are to have such a lovely place to live and enjoy life.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  7. Beulah is such a pretty pup! I hope she's feeling OK after her surgery.
Your clematis is so healthy and beautiful.
We have a robin's nest in our bushes right now but it's too high up for me to see the eggs.
    Have a good weekend!

  10. Oh! I just can't believe those fantastic photos of the eggs in the nest! Incredible! Maybe the thorns of the rose bushes will keep the birdies safe. Beulah looks beautiful and now she will live a long peaceful life with the puppy-maker out of her!

  12. I can't help but think of what cute puppies Beulah would have had but I know it's not practical at all. Don't we dislike being practical? Sometimes I do.
May has indeed flown by. We had some lovely weather in April but May has been very cool and wet.
That's a splendid picture of the nest and eggs. Robin's eggs if I'm not mistaken.
I hope you have a sunshiny weekend!!

  14. Hi Connie! Yes May has zoomed by so fast! It has been a time of lots of yard work for us, and everything in our yard too, looks pretty darned good! It seems like spring has sprung earlier than usual around here, even though it's been so dry. We had one good rainfall which really made everything green up really fast! Your Iris are gorgeous - we have lots in our yard too.. Your clemantis are just stunning! And Beulah is darling with her new haircut. She looks like a sweet little teddy.. all soft and fluffy.. and hope she is very cuddly too! Have a lovely Memorial Day weekend.. I think the weather is going to be really nice here, so hope it's the same there. Hugs.. Marilyn

  15. Yes I can't get over how fast this year is going by, it seems to go faster every year. Poor Beulah, they always look so sad with those shields on. She is too cute before and after her hair cut :) Our Iris have all bloomed and gone away already, so sad they don't last longer. I hope they do get a chance to hatch so neat to see them grow!

  16. Beulah is gorgeous in her new hair cut! What a beautiful color for the robin eggs. We have a robin with a nest in the top of our arbor among the climbing rose bush. I can see her when she is sitting on it and love it when the hummingbird stops by. We picked up our new beagle puppy yesterday so not getting much else done. She is 8 weeks old and her name is Rosie. She is lots of work but will bring us much joy. Enjoy Memorial Day. Nancy

  17. Beulah is such a beautiful dog! She looks right spiffy after her spa treatment! You certainly have lots of beauty around you, Connie. A blessed Memorial Day to you. May we never forget those brave souls who went into battle for our country. We owe them so much.
