Here's the culprit.
It ended up being a needle
and not a straight pin.
I am so grateful for all
your prayers
and for a surgeon that
prayed before she did the surgery.
Beulah is not happy about
wearing a cone,
but she has to wear it for two weeks.
Until the stitches come out.
I have tears, but they are
tears of joy.
Well, again thank you all
for your prayers.
Now, I have some serious
spoiling to do :)
God bless you all,
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
Good to hear that news! Spoil away. Beulah deserves it and it will do you both good!
ReplyDeleteGrace & Peace,
Pam
I just read your posts and am so glad that Beaulah is going to be okay. That is one of my fears with my dog too. I can only imagine how thankful you are. God does answer prayer! Nancy.
ReplyDeleteOh Connie, I missed the previous post and now I see that poor Beulah swallowed a needle, of all things!! I'm so glad the surgery was successful and she's on the mend.
ReplyDeleteI'm SO glad she's OK, and that now you can get a good nights sleep!!
ReplyDeleteOh what a relief. I was so worried about her...and you. I know how much we all love our fur babies. Thank the Lord for a surgeon who is a believer and knew Who to ask to help her find that needle.
ReplyDeleteSpoil that sweet girl as much as you want. You both need it.
Blessings and love,
Betsy
Oh my goodness, poor baby. That needle does look awful. So glad to hear they were able to remove it so she can heal. You both need some rest!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that Beulah swallowed a pin - I must've missed a post! I will have to go back and see what I missed. I'm just so glad she's OK. I know animals hate wearing those cones, but it's necessary. I know you will give her extra love and attention!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a very difficult surgery, to find the needle and remove it. So glad Beulah is home and in recovery mode.
ReplyDeleteSo please to hear that Beulah’s surgery was successful. You must be so relieved. Wishing Beulah a speedy recovery. xx
ReplyDeleteOh I'm so happy to hear her surgery went well.
ReplyDeleteThat is so scary! My husband and I have both been reading your story. I know you'll have a full day taking care of Beulah. Hugs to you my friend!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear than Beaulah is recuperating nicely. I also often worried about the pins and thread pieces that sometimes fall on the floor when sewing and quilting... when we had the cats. It is definitely something to keep aware of when you have pets.
ReplyDeleteOh that is such good news!!! Thanks for letting us know.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear that, Connie.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for Dear Beulah and you..May she she recover quickly.
ReplyDeleteTake Care,
Kaye
Such good news!
ReplyDeleteSo glad she's okay! Have you ever tried using Wonder Clips instead of straight pins? I prefer them and they'd be safer around your pups, although I know this was a needle and not a straight pin she swallowed. If she swallowed a Wonder Clip, I don't think it would be nearly as dangerous. Plus, they're so pretty and fun to use. Glad she's on the mend! Hope you're okay after that scare, Connie. I'm sure it took it out of you. Take care!
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased that the OP was successful, and I'm sure your Beulah will enjoy been spoilt as she recuperates. It was such a worry, but you are coming out the other side now, thank goodness.
ReplyDeleteOh Connie, I am so sorry. Well, I'm happy the surgery is over and Beulah is doing okay, I just didn't know the whole story until now. That is so scary. Several years ago, I was working on a bonnet, laid it down for a minute to see what Poppy was calling me for. When I went back, Dumperoo had swallowed the needle and thread. He had surgery too. I've been extra careful since then. Beulah is just beautiful. You must have been worried sick. You take care, and have a nice relaxing evening. :) Love, Henny
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to see this and read the good report!
ReplyDeleteSo good to hear that all went well and she just needs to rest now.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fright you must have had. I'm so glad it has turned out alright (and thankful that all those prayers worked). Mxx
ReplyDeleteDear Connie I am so thankful your sweet pup is alright. How we love our babies. To answer your question about baking an Apple pie in a cast iron skillet - no I never have but I will now. That sounds so delicious. Thanks for mentioning it. Now go spoil your baby for me. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHi Connie, Beulah is sure a sweet looking dog. So glad to hear the good news. Take care, Connie, and have a good day!
