Hair Cut & Chair Makeover

 Last Monday I took Beulah

to Petco for a spa treatment.

Why do we treat our dogs

better than we treat ourselves, LOL.

While she was getting pampered

I went to our Senior Center

Thrift Store and purchased two

old wooden chairs . . .

with dirty old padded seats.

$5 each

After getting them home

and spray painted them . . .

and recovered the seats. . .

Here's how they turned out.

I'm very happy with

the finished re-do :)

So that's what I've been doing.

I hope this encourages any of

you that, like me,

furnish your homes on a tight budget.

God bless you all

and thanks for stopping by,

Your blogging sister,

Connie :)

  1. I love the chair makeovers! I think that is a very similar color to the one I used to paint my porch chairs. Very pretty!

  5. Those chairs are lovely. I sure with I had taken some lessons from you whe we were so close. Our new (second hand), dining room chairs are covered in cream colored material and definitely could use recovering but I don't have a clue how to do it. I think in the spring I'll watch some youtube videos and see if I can figure it out.
Buelah is lovely. She looks quite proud of herself. :-)
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  15. Oh Connie.. Buelah looks a little puzzled!!! what happened to my fur coat?? (but she's so pretty!). Your chairs are just perfect and I love that color of blue.. and the cushions are so pretty! I like the calming colors of that teal blue. I find myself needing to be kept busy. Of course, with Christmas, I will be.. but after the first of the year, then what? Well then I guess I tackle organizing my garage. Love to you... Marilyn

  22. Merry Christmas Connie. I love the "new" chairs. I also like that your chairs are different. That always makes me think of big family gatherings when every chair in the house was used. Praying you have a safe and happy holiday. Blessings, xoxo, love, Susie
