Doodles From My Journal

Having fun with color . . .
as you can see, it does not scare me:)

We are not meant to be perfect . . .
the sooner we realize this fact . . .
the sooner we can enjoy the perfectly imperfect person we are :)

Just a little doodle fun,
while watching the TV with my honey:)

We have all felt this way,
a few times in our lives . . .
okay maybe more than a few :)

Love one another . . .
A kind word and a smile is such a wonderful thing :)

Here's wishing you all
 a marvelously stupendous day!

That is the kind of day I'm planning,

Connie

    1. Hi Claire . . . thank you . . . my day was great. It started off with a clean bill of health from the dentist. Then some greats finds at a thrift shop and at an estate sale. Now I,m home reading all these lovely comments from my sweet blogging sisters.
I'm planning a new recipe for dinner and then some P.J. wearing, TV watching and probably more doodling.
I'd would say a pretty good day:)
I hope that your weekend is wonderful, too
      Your blogging sis, Connie :)

  7. Hi Connie..
I love your doodles, and I love your wise words!

You are a girl after my own heart; as I love paper and pens.
The kids all look at me as if I've flipped my cookie, when I tell them that paper and pens are still
on my wish list for Christmas.
Yep... even at my age **giggle*.

Thanks for sharing your inspiration and creativity.

    1. Hi Kerin, I know what you mean about paper and pens . . . crayons, too. There is nothing quite so nice as a new box of 64 colors. :) Gifts do not have to be expensive, just thoughtful, right?

      Have a wonderful weekend,
      Your blogging sister, Connie

    1. Hi Lynne, That's the way a textile artist thinks, isn't it? I love how we all share ideas and how we take bits and pieces from things we see and make them our own. Sometimes it's the colors, somethings it's the texture, sometimes it's a transformed object . . . an artist's mind never rests . . . and you never know what might spark an idea. I have had more communication with other artists, in the last year, since I've been blogging than I have had in my whole life. I love it, and I love seeing how everyone interpreters, rearranges, and maneuvers ideas around, to come up with fresh and wonderfully artful surprises.
Life is like a box of crayons . . .
      Have a wonderful weekend.
