I have been having fun with the Valentine's Day theme.
I save all of those sticks that come with scented oil.
Here I used one to make the bow and one to make the arrow.
They smell good, too:)
***********
Here I covered a piece of foam core board with sheet music
to make the canvas for my collage.

A Closer Look.
This was so much fun to make,
notice John's glasses.
I've been enjoying Steam-punk
and wanted to experiment.
***********
Some of you may remember this garland.
I have it in my pink bedroom.
It was a goodwill find :)
***********
My intention with this post,
was to spread a little love.
I hope I succeeded:)
I love you all,
you sweetie pie blogging sisters.
Connie

What a great Valentine's Day vignette, Connie! Love the arrow; very clever. Your top hat looks great with it's current band around it.

Hello Connie, Thank you for coming to my blog.I had the pleasure of looking at your blog home and WOW, it was fun. I look forward to knowing you. Our little Finley is about 10 pounds of love, and he is doing just fine. He goes to the Vet this morning and I am sure it will be good news. I haven't been doing a lot of crafts, but it is something I love. We have been working on our house this past few months and it takes up a lot of my time. I live in a 1906 cottage farm house that we continue to give TLC. I live in Nampa, Idaho and love our little farm. Welcome to my world, it may be small, but filled with love, again thank you for coming to see me. Mary
ReplyDeleteHi Mary . . . I always get excited when I make a new friend. I am looking very forward to following your blog and getting to know you better through blogging. Your home sounds wonderful, 1906 Wow :)

Hi Barb, it is lovely to have you visit. I'm happy that you like my collage and my top hat. That top hat was a paper project that I thought about for a long while before deciding how I was going to create it. That is the fun of trying something new . . . for me the first time I try something new, is also the most exciting. New techniques may become more honed with time, but the first time is always the most adventurous :) Thank you again for visiting and do come again :)
DeleteSpeaking of love...I am in love with that Beatles collage! Unbelievably creative and awesome. Such talent you have!
ReplyDeleteHi Melanie . . . thank you so much . . . but I think what you are in love with is probably the Beatles, me too :)
DeleteI am delighted that you like my collage, and thank you, so much.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)
Hi Connie. The Valentine's craft theme is wonderful, I love them all. You certainly have spread a little love and such a clever idea. The Beatles - what memories they bring back - as though it was yesterday. Have a good weekend.
