They say that what doesn't kill you,
makes you stronger.
Well, time will tell :)
I've been doing a lot of yard work
and my flowers are amazing this year.
This is the first post that I have tried doing
on the new Blogger platform.
I'm not sure that I like it,
but then when I get used to doing something
a certain way and it works,
I don't like changing it.
My motto is:
"If it isn't broken, don't fix it!"
But, I also believe that an old dog
can learn a new trick.
So, here I am learning as I go.
Such is life.
God bless you all and thank you
for visiting my little blog.
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
Hi Connie, I'm happy to see you posted today. Also that you're able to garden and tend to your lovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteI've been wondering how I'll like the new Blogger which it seems will be forced upon us. Hopefully I'll be able to find my way because I don't learn as quickly as I once did. Blessings, GM
Hi Connie

Hi Connie, nice to see you posting. I just have to ask what you are doing to your flowers to make them so beautiful, mine are alive, that's about it,
ReplyDeleteNonie
Hello! It's so lovely to see you back here! Your flowers are beautiful. What are the pink ones? They are gorgeous. I'm glad you are finding joy in your garden. I think of you often. I didn't know that Blogger had a new platform! I wonder what I'm missing. Take care, stay safe and well. ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteHi Connie. Lovely to read your post and see your garden, which always looks beautiful and full of colour. Take care. xx
ReplyDeleteYour clematis are simply scrumptious, I think I would like to get one like yours. Continuous change can be wearing on little ole me, I will have to use new blogger soon.
ReplyDeleteAdore those beautiful Clematis. What a stunner of a plant. Gardening and hard physical work will be solace. I find it so too. Yes Aaargh!Just when we get used to one platform ( Blogger).
ReplyDeleteWe are currently trying to put photos and videos from "Smart phone" to PC.GRrrrrr!
Your clematis are gorgeous! I think God is sending his love via flowers.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried the new platform. I hate change!
Hugs...

ReplyDeleteHi Connie, I think you have always been stronger than you ever knew. You are putting your attention into your yard and garden. I love the beautiful clematis. I know you can do one day at a time, even though some days will be longer than others. Please know that many out here love and care about you. I have learned a lot from our blog family. Wishing you blessings. xoxo, love, Susie
ReplyDeleteHi Connie, Glad to see your post and your beautiful flowers. My clematis is blooming also but tends to have most of the flowers towards the bottom. Thinking of you and praying. Love, Nancy
ReplyDeleteConnie, I am so glad to see this post. Your flowers are so beautiful. What a special gift from God to you. I love the arrangement in the ball jar, and your Clematis is amazing. I think there's something very therapeutic about working outside, digging in the dirt, pruning and tending plants and flowers. I pray you continue to spend time doing this, and enjoying the Lord's handiwork as you do. Hugs, Nancy
ReplyDeleteHello Connie! So good to find your blog today. Your yard looks so green and healthy, your flowers are gorgeous --especially that clematis. And yes, one day at a time. "Sufficient for today are the troubles thereof." I'm glad God gives us blessings in,thru and with those troubles. Prayin' for you!
ReplyDeleteHello Connie, It's so good to see you here in blogland today. Life does go on doesn't it? Our family has also had a difficult week. My oldest brother passed away from Covid-19 last week very fast and unexpectedly. No family funeral. Everything is so difficult as you well know.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are so beautiful and I'm glad you have them to bring joy to your heart. You are a strong and beautiful lady with a deep, deep faith. It will see you through. My mantra these days is "this world is not my home, I'm just passing through," from the old hymn. I'm guessing you feel the same.
Much love and many blessings,
Betsy
So happy to see you post. I haven't tried the new platform yet, I keep putting it off. You remain in my prayers, take care.
ReplyDeleteHi Connie- So good to hear from you -and it looks like you've mastered the new Blog ( I'm going to try and stick with the older version until the gremlins are sorted out with the new version)...my-my you have been very busy with your yard and gardens - the flowers are a spectacular display and you've taken great photos too. Best Wishes. KEV. (Sydney- Australia)
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful Connie. I'm glad you have the garden to work in to occupy your time and your mind.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about if it's not broke don't fix it. I have yet to try the new blogger but I suppose I should give it a try before I have no choice.
One day at a time for sure. Trying to handle any more can be detrimental to our health and well-being. Learning the new blogger and becoming familiar with it takes a little time. Change is hard, especially the older we get, and living through life's experiences. Change can also be good for us, learning new things, keeping our minds active.
ReplyDeleteGardening is wonderful therapy and you have some really lovely flowers growing there for you. Love your clematis.
Love, hugs and prayers for you dear Connie ~ FlowerLady
I was happy to see your lovely post too. Your garden is lovely. Full of love and beautiful flowers and memories.
ReplyDeleteNice to see your flowers and to know you're hanging in there!! God bless you.
ReplyDeleteI've been using the new blogger and like it except don't like how you can't click on a picture to make it bigger so
I've gone back to the old one. Will deal with the new one when I have to. :)
Good morning, Connie!
ReplyDeleteThat mason jar flower arrangement is darling!
You have always inspired me, and you seem like you a gal built of heart and fortitude, and you set such a good example of grace and kindness for all of us.
Continued prayers for you and thoughts of cheerier days ahead.
~K.
I am so happy so see you posting.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to hear from you and see your beautiful flowers. I keep you in my prayers sweet friend. Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are lovely. Thinking of you...
ReplyDeleteSo good to see a post from you, dear Connie. Your flowers are absolutely gorgeous. And I love the blue and white pitcher and teapot in your first photo.
ReplyDeleteOne day, one breath at a time. You are surrounded by love and prayers.
Hello Connie, Like you I have just tried the new Blogger platform. You said it well - if it isn't broken, don't fix it! I guess we have to get used to new things in life. Your flowers are gorgeous, and I'm sure being in the garden, working with your hands, is healing for your heart and mind. Hugs and prayers, Lorrie
ReplyDeleteSo good to see you posting, wow your flowers are absolutely beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to try the new blogger, good for you giving it a chance, I guess I should give it a try before they go away with the old, hope I learn it as well as you did :)
I use Blogger too, but don't see any new platform or haven't been notified of any changes! Am I in the dark or what? Mine is just as it normally is! We'll see I guess. Your flowers are so gorgeous.... flowers do brighten up our day and help to lift up our souls somewhat. I know it mush help to just be outside surrounded by flowers and greenery.. and a nice green lawn and the blue skies. Being outdoors helps so much in lifting our spirits! Please keep sharing your days and YOU... I always look forward to your posts! Hugs.... Marilyn
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are lovely, bright and colorful. They bring us simple joy don't they? Blogger...I'm trying the new interface, it takes getting used to. Just like when I began my blog all those years ago, it was a learning curve. I like to see that they are improving it. We lost so many bloggers to FB. I hope they come back. It was a nice community of people.
ReplyDeleteHi Connie. Wow your flowers are perfect! So very beautiful! Every summer I look forward to seeing your garden bounty. May you find peace in your heart
ReplyDeleteHi Connie :) I agree with your blogger sentiment, but I'm forcing myself to use it anyway. I hate how long it takes to upload photos, but then it could be my internet connection. Your flowers are so beautiful. Sending thoughts and hugs your way! xx
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see this post, your flowers are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteTake care, my good wishes.
All the best Jan
Hi Connie! Just dropping by to say hello and let you know that I'm thinking about you and missing you. How is your gardening growing? You have the prettiest yard and garden. Had the first mess of beans last night. Oh, my, so good. I had forgotten how much better garden beans are than grocery store beans. 2 different things completely.
ReplyDeleteKeep looking up, dear friend.
Your flowers are gorgeous Connie! I just love clematis blooms! I am patiently waiting on mine to bloom, a slow bloomer for sure this year, not sure why. Much of my garden has been loving the cool rainy weather, other parts are waiting on the sunshine. I haven't had any troubles with the new platform yet, but there have been a few different things to get used to. Hopefully it all gets figured out soon. Much love to you dear friend!
