Everything Old Is New Again

Saturday finds.
Two little black evening bags,
that I thought needed a little romantic touch.

What do you think?

I would love to hear from you . . .

Ok... so, I bought some vintage style tins this weekend at yard sales, and I would like an idea of what I should do with them now.

  10. I think you've made them better! I often ties scarves onto handles of bags just to bring them out of boringville. Works great on suitcases too and it makes them visually easier to spot.

    1. Hi Joni, I too always tie a scarf around my suitcase handle. At first everyone had black suitcases, so then you buy red . . . now everyone has red. Those scarves really help at the luggage turntables.

  17. I want to hear all the details - where did you go sporting your "new" evening bags?

    ReplyDelete

    1. I'm afraid that I didn't make them to use. I am going to put them in my market booth next spring.
Our evenings out are usually at the home of friends, wish don't require an evening bag.

  22. Connie, Thank you for following me (The Red Painted Cottage). My frosting recipe is so good that tonight I had one extra piece of cake leftover and didn't want to save it. One of my daughter-in-laws ended up just eating the frosting off that cake and left the cake. So there you have it...YUMMY!! I'm going to a wonderful flea market in the morning and will be doing a posting on my finds. Stay tune!
