Hi, I have been having fun
the last couple of days making
mice.
I thought that you might like to see them.

ReplyDeleteHi Ginny, thanks for visiting, I am delighted that you like my mice. . . they where a lot of fun to make :)
Deleteoh yes I would love to make a few mice. Those are adorable. Thanks for the link. I'm heading over there now
ReplyDeleteHello Ann, I hope that you have fun making your mice. I also hope that you will post them; I would love to see your version :)
DeleteOh- Those mice are so darned cute I can't stand it. I used to make mice for Christmas every year with little pointed hats. Hadn't thought about them in a long time.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your birthday "cake". How COOL is that? Hope you are having a wonderful week- xo Diana
Hi Diana, thanks so much for visiting, I always think how sweet it would be to have tea and cookies for my visitors. I guess if we could have a cookie at every blog we visited, we would all be blogging about dieting, LOL.
DeleteThese are adorable, Connie! I love the Halloween trio!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy, and thank you, they where fun to make :)
Deletewhat cute mouse picushions! tfs! & that's the best birthday cake ever!Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteHelen
Hi Nanna, I'm back on Weight Watchers and I did not want to sabotage my weight goal for cake. I'll save those times for when I am invited to someone else's celebration, and then be very careful. At least when you eat dessert away from home, you're not left with the remainder of the cake on your counter calling out your name, LOL. Watermelon is one for my top ten favorite foods :)
DeleteYour mice are adorable!!! And I want some of that birthday cake.....it's making my mouth water!!! Blessings~~~Roxie
ReplyDeleteHi Roxie, it's a no guilt cake :)
DeleteI'm back on Weight Watchers . . . and I love watermelon :)
Now that is a neat birthday cake...needing a recipe for pickled watermelon rind? I have one and the rinds are really good pickled. Mice are really cute, I should make some.
ReplyDeleteHi Louise, these mice are a lot of fun to make. I'm afraid that I have only made pickles once in my life and that was because I had a girlfriend here helping me. I've always been afraid that I might do something wrong and poison my family :( It's probably because my Mom never canned, so although I would love to learn, I'm very nervous about it.
DeleteThose mice are very cute! Love the birthday cake..watermelon yumm! Can't wait for summer. We can get them all year round now but the summer ones have all the flavour!

DeleteHi Carolyn, this is weird because I typed a reply and then when it posted it posted the reply just above this one that I typed to Louise. I hope than my computer is not messy up on me. Our lap-top is sick and going into the computer doctor tonight, so I such hope that nothing happens to this one, or I'll be out of reach with all of you lovely friends.
DeleteI now what you mean about eating them in season. They are wonderful right now, so full of flavor. This winter when the snow is on the ground here, you can post a photo and remind me for the fruits of summer and that warmer weather is on the way.
Those are the cutest little rodents I've ever seen! At first when I saw your blog title, I was like, "Uh oh"...lol. Glad it's the stuffed ones you're being invaded with. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Melanie, I'm very glad that it is the stuffed one, too. The others are not welcome here!
DeleteThose mouth are so sweet and I have had a look at the pattern, I think I might have a go. Mmmmmm watermelon, one of the best things on a really hot day xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Fran, These mice are a lot of fun to make. I think you'll enjoy making them.
DeleteOh they are just so sweet! Now they are mice I could live with ~ but I really adore the little ear of corn pincushion ~ Thanks for sharing the link to the pattern ~ they seem like a fun little project! Judi
ReplyDeleteHi Judy, believe it or not, I made that ear of corn pincushion at least thirty years ago. I wish that I still had the pattern, but I could probably create one from taking measurements and oiling up the old brain a bit :)
DeleteThey are very cute. I love the fabric inside the ears. I wish I had the time to make a bunch for the desks at work. They would be a nice surprise.
ReplyDeleteHi Lori,
Deleteat least these little critters wouldn't have all the ladies at work standing on their desks screaming :) They are really a lot of fun to make, but they do take time especially if you're wanting to make several.
They really are so cute Connie. I love them and their ears are just adorable.
ReplyDeletePatricia x
Hi Patricia, and thanks . . . they were fun to make :)
DeleteVery cute! Nancy
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nancy :)
DeleteThey are adorable... I love the matching tails and ears, especially that delicious floral one at the end! Thanks so much for your visit and comment at Words and Pictures - greatly appreciated.

DeleteAdorable! Those are the kind of mice I like!
ReplyDeleteHi Anita, yes, if you are going to have mice in your house, these are the ones to have :)
DeleteThose are too cute! I love the big ears! The corn and strawberry are cute, too! And I love your birthday cake. Thanks for sharing. Hugs xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, thanks . . . I guess if you are going to be invaded by mice, these are the ones you want, LOL
DeleteThat looks like my kind of birthday cake! Happy belated birthday, hoping your special day was great.
ReplyDeleteYour mice are sooooo cute! I want on ;o)
Have a great day.
Always, Queenie
Hi Queenie, I know, I am always amazed when someone says that they don't like watermelon. That's my husband, he usually asks for one bite (all summer), the best part of that is that there is more for me :) I can make a meal of it. Two of my favorite foods are watermelon and popcorn.
DeleteConnie, they are adorable!!! They got cuter and cuter! Thank you for sharing the pattern...I feel so bad I missed your birthday, love your low cal Birthday cake!!! HAPPY Birthday!
ReplyDeleteCarol
